Kobuleti is a town in Georgia's southwestern region of Ajaria. It is situated on the eastern coast of the Black Sea. The climate of the city is mild subtropical. Sea water is amazingly transparent here and the oxygen is extremely wholesome especially if you have problems with the heart.
In the Soviet Union Kobuleti was considered to be the city of regional importance. There were located sanatoriums and pensions that belonged to Ministry of Defence.
As mentioned above, Kobuleti is a sea resort and it’s annually visited by Georgians and many former Soviet Union residents, especially Armenian.
