The resort town Borjomi is located in the southeastern part of Georgia, at 800-900  m. above sea level. It is one of the districts of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region and is situated in the northwestern part of the region in the picturesque Borjomi Gorge on the eastern edge of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Borjomi is surrounded with pie and joint-leave forests because of what summer is quite cool.
Borjomi is well known for its mineral waters that have been revered for centuries for having positive healing affects on people with digestive diseases.
