Kvareli - is a town in northeastern inKakhetiProvince,Georgia. Located in theAlazaniValley, near the foothills of theGreater CaucasusMountains, it was the birthplace of Georgian authorIlia Chavchavadze, whose fortified house is preserved as a local museum.
