Taxi is a popular way of getting around Tbilisi. You can take a taxi either straight in the street or by calling one of the telephone numbers:

If you take a taxi in the street, you should negotiate the price from the very beginning. Taxi price: 50-70 tetri/km.
Type of Taxis: There are "taxi calls" and "private taxis".  Both are called taxis.    
The price is often negotiated (downward) especially if you speak Georgian. 
All taxis have yellow lights on the roofs. Taxi models vary from luxurious to minimal.
